New York Times on Medical Device Security

Credit: Richard Perry/The New York Times
The New York Times recently interviewed the leadership of the Archimedes Center for Medical Device Security. The article provides a balanced perspective on risks and benefits of various approaches for medical device security, and draws on several primary sources.  This balance is an important departure from media articles over the past couple years that largely sensationalize rather than analyze the problem space.  Great to see some in-depth reporting.

The ACM Committee on Computers and Public Policy conducts peer review of the Inside Risks column in CACM, and also helps the moderator of the RISKS Digest.
